LEJOG Day 5 by faroukm at Garmin Connect - Details

Another day done

Judith and stephen drove the van
Good weather
Stopped for second massive breakie in Shrewsbury -really nice town. Had prunes with Bacon - quite good. Yum yum

One puncture (Sam)

Peeing fine

Overtaken by Old Lady On bike today - at speed but we think she cycles for Spain - said Ola to Neal - ( i think she said move OVA ....)

Picnic in Park in Whitchurch - J and S gone to Ludlow food centre and stocked up with delicacies ! - Pickled herring particularly good.

Total milage so far 368 miles from Land's End

Adrian has arrived and taken over the driving.

Sam here

Fabulous day

Boys in top from.

Nelly looking good wearing an increasing amount of hair product.

Marwan, the leviathan, spouting fluid all over his mates, whilst a tad grumpy in the afternoon. Obviously a little hungry, only one pickled herring rather than a school.

Malty, the most reasonable person in the whole word.

And El Presidente, bringing up the rear.

Looking forward to Costa Del Warrington and Wigan tomorrow.

Love to all

SAM

KP here
All on top form. Numerous discussions about bodily functions that decorum would prevent their mention. Cycling for charity with friends in great countryside.... can things be better?
Morecambe Bay tomorrow!
Love to all xx

  1. judith and stephen had a wonderful time, we didn't have to bike, just to get lost trying to find our way through small incomprehensible towns....good job we are not on navigation tomorrow. good luck- we think you are all wonderful, brave, courageous and funny.

Dad, you'll be glad to know mum has bought a new elephant for the house... SARCASM! It looks like an Indian lady but Dylan thinks it is scary.
Good luck for tomorrow and we will be thinking of you all
