LEJOG Day 6 by faroukm at Garmin Connect - Details

Scuppered through the corridor between Manchester and Liverpool in the rain.

Lots of traffic but not too hilly

Exhausted but arriving in Morecambe and riding along the Promenade was really fun way to finish.

wore waterproofs all day

Adrian did really well - he actually found us the oddest almost surreal lunch stop ever in a wierd elderly theme park.

Large Supper watching Footie : Happy that Spain won

No Punctures

p ok

Total milage : 438 miles

Tomorrow it's the Lake District - been told that might be hilly......

hi all

Sams addition

Today started well, Marwans birthday, 52 again, 4th year running

Nelly looks knackered,

The team are realising the enormity of exercising for 7 hrs per day for 2 weeks

Set off through Warrington in the rain, never visit unless kidnapped, the only reason I can think to go there.

Taken by Adrian to some place, a combination of the twilight zone and the land the world forgot (near Warrington)

Rain, rain, rain, rain, rain and a bit more rain for fun.

Arrived in Lancaster, the cycling capital of the universe, excellant.

Morecambe, great hotel, great meal, great football result (Marwan owes me £5).

Love to Jan, Lara, Ben, Tom

Sam xxxxxx
